Independent Golf Coach Partner (1099)

This is a 1099 independent contractor opportunity for coaches who want to deliver instruction within a premium club environment without the burden or risk of operating a facility.


Coaches provide instructional services to The Goph Club’s members and guests using club-owned technology and space, under club-defined guidelines.


This role is ideal for coaches who are comfortable operating within a structured, member-first environment and who value collaboration over autonomy of space.

The Goph Club partners with a small, select group of independent golf coaches to provide instruction and junior development for our members and guests.

This is not a bay rental or facility lease opportunity.

Coaches do not rent space, do not hold exclusive bay access, and do not independently control facility availability. All coaching activity is designed to complement — not compete with — member access and overall club experience.

The Goph Club is a premium 24/7 indoor golf performance and development studio located in Madison, Alabama, powered by Trackman technology.

What You'll Do

  • Provide private and small-group instruction using Trackman
  • Design and lead junior golf programs, clinics, and camps
  • Conduct club fitting and gapping sessions
  • Integrate golf-specific fitness, mobility, and movement principles into coaching
  • Build long-term development plans for juniors and adult golfers
  • Deliver a professional, consistent experience aligned with The Goph Club’s standards

How Compensation Works

Coaches are compensated through a revenue-share model based on instruction and programming conducted at The Goph Club.

  • No bay rental fees
  • No fixed hourly facility charges
  • Compensation tied directly to lessons, fittings, clinics, and junior programs
  • Pricing, scheduling windows, and capacity limits are defined by the club

Scheduling & Facility Access

  • Coaching sessions occur during club-approved coaching windows
  • Member play always takes priority over instruction
  • Junior programs and clinics are scheduled in approved blocks
  • The number of active coaches and total coaching hours is intentionally limited

What We're Looking For

  • PGA or LPGA Member / Apprentice preferred (or equivalent experience)
  • Demonstrated experience coaching junior golfers
  • Familiarity with Trackman, TPI, or performance-based systems
  • Understanding of golf-specific fitness, mobility, and biomechanics
  • Club fitting experience a plus
  • Strong communication skills and professional presence
